wazzup people! I'm back from China(: So it started on 7dec morning. I am seriously spoilt. I need to change. I need to get out of my comfort zone!! anyway, reached beijing in the afternoon. the air there is really polluted but overall it's a nice place. the first four days were free and easy cuz the tour only started on the 11th. so we visited many places like tiananmen, ming tomb, houhai, the great wall and xiushuijie.it's like bugis street. and can bargain until very cheap cuz the price they give is ridiculous. there was one shop which really pissed me off. first my dad and bro went and it was RMB300 for a shirt.and they managed to bargain until 180 but they still walked away. then my bro told my mom and my mum and i went to the shop but didnt say anything abt 180. the shop was really crowded then and i heard the shopkeeper shouting RMB500 for each shirt and when everybody left, the lady walked up to us and told us it's RMB600. I was so pissed. Did she think we were so stupid? or maybe cuz she didnt see us with the crowd so she thought we didnt hear the 500. anw, in the end we didnt buy the shirt. It was quite nice. There is this sound sensor or sth, so when it detects sound, the shirt will light up. really cool.anyway,we ate a lot of duck and steamboat.yum(: 11dec-checked out frm hotel and went to the airport to meet the sims n uncle jk. checked in our stuff then went to kenny rogers to eat. then after that went to kfc to eat. but i didnt eat. cuz i think it's crazy to eat so much. so then we went to the plane. reached harbin really late at night around 2300 i think.(btw there's no time diff between s'pore and the places we went) met the tour guide and other tour grp members. it was super cold. temp was like -20°C. there weren't many things to see in harbin. we visited some island. sunny island?? saw polar bears,whales,penguins,seahorse,starfish and many more.we also visited a church(forgot the name), a temple(also forgot) and this really big place full of snow and people were making ice sculptures out of huge ice blocks. there was also one time when we got to walk on water(frozen water). it's like if s'pore and malaysia had winter, we wouldnt need the causeway, we could juz walk across the sea. and there wouldn't be jams.lol. next, we went to changchun.went skiing. an interesting sport that i managed to pick up fast. even though there was an instructor, i barely understood wat he said.it was chinese! so i learned by watching others. so then we went to shenyang.dun rmb anything there.only shopping.ate at macs. last three days were at beijing.went to tiananmen,forbidden city, bird nest stadium and the place(a shopping area.wat a weird name.) oh another thing abt this whole thing is that the sun sets around 1630 so dinner is super early and we have to get up really early everyday. the hotels we stay in are all 5 stars but it doesnt really matter since we dont spend a lot of time in the hotel. i really miss the trip. it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. i juz had to be more open and everything bad turned great(:
